Welcome to the Vocational Education in Schools Directorate registration for VET Teacher Training - Semester 2, 2010
 
Congratulations on being accepted into the VET Teacher Training Program for Semester 2, 2010. All teachers are requested to register online for the orientation program.
 
The first mandatory component of training for all VET teachers is to attend a 2 day orientation in Sydney at the Mercure Hotel Sydney.
 
The mandatory orientation provides teachers with a total overview of their industry specific training program and also provides teachers with the opportunity to network and make connections with other teachers across the state. Teachers will be provided with opportunities to meet and hear from the training providers for their industry area, industry representatives, curriculum officers from the NSW Office of the Board of Studies, experienced teachers who facilitate sessions throughout the 2 days, as well as the coordinator for their industry area from the VET Teacher Training team at the Vocational Education in Schools Directorate. Other officers from the Directorate are also involved in providing information on work placement and RTO issues.
